The much-loved book by Roald Dahl, ‘The Witches’, was read and adored by children all over the world before being made into a highly successful film in 1990 starring Anjelica Huston as the scary Grand High Witch.
It was announced at the end of 2019 that the film was being remade almost 20 years later with Anne Hathaway taking over the role of Grand High Witch, much to die-hard fans delight.
The film was completed by the end of June this year and was due to be released in October but the release has been delayed due to the closure of theatres due to COVID-19 and will now be hitting our screens in 2021.
