We all love to celebrate and at last we are finally doing so as the island slowly but surely begins to open. The visitors are coming and all of us can now enjoy more time with friends at bars and restaurants. And YES the island is welcoming back live music and concerts missed so much. The major names and bands are returning with concerts taking place over the last few weeks and many more are in the pipeline so watch this space and keep up to date through Celebrity Mallorca Magazine’s website.
Celebration is certainly in the air on Monday 2nd August as the iconic band Kool & the Gang are appearing at Port Adriana bringing their unique blend of R & B, funk and jazz music to a concert not to be missed.
Kool & the Gang are a legend and have been on the scene for over 49 years with awards to be proud of and 31 gold and platinum albums and over 70 million records sold to their name. A few changes to the Jersey City band along the way has not stopped them touring the Globe..Sadly, Ronald “Khalis” Bell a co-founder of the band with his brother Robert “Kool” Bell passed away last September but the music continues. Only this month the band announced their new album called “Perfect Union” and it is released at the end of August but be certain fans will want to hear some new tracks at the concert.
There are so many hits we all know and the evening concert will create an atmosphere that you will want to be part of.
An amazing history since 1964 and Kool & the Gang will continue to make history with their current tour and it will not only be a ladies night at Port Adriana but it will be a Celebration and all fans will Get Down on It and the Good Times will be with us all for a night of hits.
