Sweet Black Angels – “Goodwill In The Air” Summary : Devon, UK based Indie/Rock band release new single ‘Goodwill In The Air’ on Dec 16th from forthcoming album ‘Forever Changing Worlds’.
Biog : The band members began their musical path in 1995 and formed the band ‘Sweet Black Angels’ in 1996 and went on to support The Levellers, The Pogues, The Specials and played at Noel Gallagher’s Official Aftershow party at the 02 in London. They’ve released 3 studio albums, 1 EP, 2 live albums and a 25 best of album due out on Dec 17th to celebrate 25 years! Scott will be touring the album acoustically next year, with the band lined up to play at some festivals in the summer of 2022.
Track info : The original idea for ‘Goodwill In The Air’ was written about the Christmas Eve truce during WW1 when they stopped fighting and began to sing ‘Silent night’ and to have a game of football.
The rest was written last Christmas after seeing everyone looking out for each other and the kind acts to help others.
