Claudia Schiffer and her husband are in the midst of a legal battle in Mallorca with former F1 Manager, Willi Weber, after their gardener cut down two large pine trees in his garden without permission.
It is understood that the trees were cut down as they obstructed the sea views from the couple’s mansion in Camp de Mar. A complaint was filed in 2015 by Weber who accused the couple of trespassing on his property but it is only now that the case is being dealt with.
The couple’s gardener has already been questioned by a judge and Schiffer’s husband, Matthew Vaughn, has reached out this year and apologised to Weber and insisted that they believed the trees were in their plot. Weber has said that he will bill the couple for the cost of building a wall to define the property boundary to avoid future confusion and told the German newspaper, Bild am Sonntag, “Otherwise I will plant so many trees that they can only smell the sea.”
