Palma International Boat Show is Back!

By Ben Mulvey

Every year, at the end of April, the port of Moll Vell becomes a hive of activity and some of the most exclusive, luxurious, and technologically advanced yachts begin to drift towards our shores in time for the Palma International Boat Show.

The Palma International Boat Show is back from April 28th until May 1st along with the Palma Superyacht Village, and this year it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Last year the event took place but under the ever-looming cloud of Covid. This year, with restrictions now loosened across the islands and crowds allowed to gather, the boat show will return to its former glory.

Expect to see the biggest and best yachts and superyachts from around the world, leaders in the marine industry showcasing their latest services and products, and every salty seadog and yachty in Palma.

Aside from the prestige of the event, the social aspect of the boat show is incomparable and draws the entire island to the marina for a snoop at how the other half lives.

The Palma Superyacht Village is an extension and integral part of the Palma International Boat Show that features a selection of 24m+ superyachts that are available for sale or charter.

Refit and repair, boat building and maintenance companies, nautical equipment companies and every other service associated with the marine industry can be found at the boat show. Whether you are an avid sailor, a member of the yachting community, or a curious superyacht admirer, head down to the Moll Vell port, just next to the Cathedral in Palma, and spend a day mooching around these magnificent boats – you may even be invited on board for a glass of champagne!
