[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1745″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]A bevy of bronzed torsos, bikini-clad bodies and excitable young and beautiful people have been revealed for the first time on Love Island that aired on January 12th.
The winter edition of the popular reality show is filmed in Cape Town and follows 12 hopefuls looking for love in this first-ever winter edition. This series has been flanked with some controversy before it even started with the arrest of the host, Caroline Flack, for assault in December. Laura Whitmore has stepped up to host this season which is filmed in a £5.3 million villa in Cape Town.
The format of the show remains the same as the summer edition that is filmed in Mallorca with contestants battling it out to find love. Expect plenty of drama, plenty of preening and a few sexy moments that the show has become famous for.
It is said that security has been increased around the mansion due to the location of the set and because a security boss was shot dead only 25 minutes away. The shooting is not linked to Love Island.
Love Island airs on ITV2 weekly at 9 pm on Sunday.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
